“Kunal / "Travelwith" arranged an amazing (last minute) trip for us to Corbett National Park. All our wishes came true - and more. We stayed first at Jim's Jungle Retreat and went on several safaris. Very good guides and drivers made it a wonderful experience, the accomodation was perfect and food was very good. We moved to Vanghat after that (a short drive) and enjoyed quiet and serene surroundings. We watched birds, went on walks and learned about stars. “The trip that Kunal arranged to Vanghat and Pangot (Jim Corbett National Park) was fantastic. Kunal arranged all aspects of the trip from transportation to accommodations to guides. Everything was well planned and was as expected. Kunal is very responsive to questions and suggestions. “Kunal Jain from the Travel With campaign recommended this place to us and organized this trip. Last year, Kunal has already organized two trips to nature for us, and we trust his assessment. He told us about Vanghat camp for a long time, and now, during the school holidays in early April, our family decided to go there. It is located in the foothills of the Himalayas, in Corbett National Park on the banks of the Ramganga river, about 7 hours from Delhi by car. Vanghat camp is a very secluded place. We left the car at some other resort, where we were met by two porters and a naturalist.”

Spring is best for birding, when the foothill forests are most active, but the country is beautiful across the cooler months. It pairs naturally with a Corbett safari over the November-to-June season.
This is a slower, gentler trip than the main park — give it time.
This is the quieter foothill country around and beyond the reserve — explored largely on foot, with birding, the Ramganga and the goral rather than jeep-based tiger tracking. It's the perfect companion to a classic Corbett stay.
