“Our trip this May was to Panna and Bandhavgarh. From the moment we got off the train at Khajuraho to our departure from Jabalpur airport, our trip was seamlessly organised: comfortable car transport, well located and hospitable hotels, a knowledgeable guide at Panna and a wonderful naturalist at Bandhavgarh. And magnificent sightings of tigers! A superb trip, like all the many others we have done with Kunal.”

“Kunal has planned multiple trips for our family, and we are never disappointed. This time was no exception. He organized travel for a group of nine people to Kanha and Bandhavgarh for tiger safaris, and it was an amazing trip. Kunal is always responsive, and his recommendations are just what we are looking for. I highly recommend Kunal for those interested in nature travel in India.”

“Kunal is the best specialist in the organization of nature tours that we know in India — we have used his services three times already. We have not lived in India for very long and do not know the country well, so it is important to have a specialist who can give good advice and fully organize a trip. Kunal advised us to visit Bandhavgarh and Kanha in Madhya Pradesh and take part in a number of safaris. We returned full of impressions — it was magical. We met tigers four times, and all the other animals without counting.”

Frequently asked questions.
Bandhavgarh is open from 1 October to 30 June. The winter months from November are beautiful and comfortable, while the hot months of March to June concentrate wildlife around water and offer the best tiger sightings. The park closes for the monsoon from July.
The peak sighting months fill early, so it's worth planning permits and lodge well ahead.
Always private. You have your own jeep, your own driver and your own naturalist, with zones and permits arranged in advance so you spend your safari window in the field rather than in the queue.
Bandhavgarh has one of the highest tiger densities of any reserve in India, so sightings across a few safaris are very good — especially in the hotter months. Beyond tigers you may see leopard, Indian wild dog, sloth bear, bison and a wealth of birds.
