Things to know as you plan

Frequently asked questions.

  • Sariska is open October to June. The winter months are comfortable and green; the hot months of April to June concentrate wildlife at water and are the most reliable for tigers.

Unlike Ranthambore, Sariska's permits rarely need booking months ahead — good for shorter-notice trips.

  • Always private — your own jeep, driver and naturalist. It's the biggest difference between booking with us and buying a seat online.

  • Tigers and leopards are the draw, alongside sambar, nilgai, wild boar, jackal and good birdlife. Sariska also holds real history — the Kankwari and Bhangarh forts and several temples sit inside the reserve. Sightings are never guaranteed.
