“We had a wonderful morning doing a safari at Jhalana with a fantastic guide and driver. Everything was so organised and planned very well, communication was excellent and the service from Kunal and his team was great. We were lucky to see one of the leopards and track it three times, and it was amazing to hear about all the wildlife inhabiting the area. A massive thank you to all involved!”

“I booked Agra and Jaipur stays and guided visits to the main attractions, including a driver with pick-up from Delhi airport. In Jaipur I did a safari in Jhalana, where we could spot leopards and other animals and birds — a really great experience. If you want unique experiences (or even mainstream ones) and totally reliable professionals at your side, Kunal and his team should be your first choice when visiting this side of the world.”

Frequently asked questions.
Jhalana can be visited throughout the year, with October to March being the most pleasant weather-wise. May and June, although hot, are very rewarding, as the heat brings prey and predator alike to the water bodies.
Because it sits inside Jaipur, Jhalana pairs easily with the city and with a Ranthambore extension.
All our safaris are private, with your own team of drivers and naturalists. You simply have to arrive at the safari gate and we take care of the rest.
Jhalana is one of the most reliable leopard reserves in India — the population is well habituated and the reserve is compact, so sightings across a couple of safaris are very good. You may also see striped hyena, desert fox, jackal and a good range of birds.
