A private Jim Corbett safari through Dhikala, Bijrani, Dhela and Jhirna — in the Himalayan foothills.
2020 • 2023 • 2024 • 2025 • 2026
Corbett stays open from October through June, with Dhikala and Bijrani closed for the monsoon between mid-June and mid-November. Dhela and Jhirna, on the other hand, stay open year-round, even through the monsoon. If you're planning a Jim Corbett safari for peak tiger season — February to June, or over major public holidays — permits need booking at least 60 days ahead for all four zones.

What makes Jim Corbett so special?
- Corbett is a 5-hour comfortable drive from Delhi, making it doable over any weekend
- Corbett is one of the best national parks in North India to see elephants and tigers sharing the same habitat
- Being in the Himalayan foothills, over 500 bird species have been recorded here, making it one of the best parks for bird-watchers
- One of the few reserves in India where you can stay in Dhikala (core zone), in forest rest houses built during the colonial era
- Our English-speaking, experienced guides are some of the best in the Corbett landscape — they know the forest like the back of their hand
Tailor-made itinerarieswith no surprises.

Guides who've worked this forest for years
Reading pugmarks, listening to alarm calls, and knowing the local flora and fauna takes practice many naturalists don't have.
- 02
One jeep, one group, no exceptions
We don't put you in a shared vehicle to cut costs. Every safari is arranged around your group alone, at whatever pace suits you.
- 03
The plan doesn't change once you're there
Zone selection, permits, hotels and transfers are locked in ahead of time. You won't be renegotiating anything on the ground.
- 04
Hotels we've actually stayed at
We only recommend luxury hotels near the park gates that our own team has visited and vetted, not ones picked off a commission list.

“Seriously! Kunal takes travelling in India to a different level. I was a bit reluctant to travel to India and terrified by the thought of doing a safari in an open jeep — but was I wrong! With Kunal you always feel safe and taken care of. From the moment we arrived at the airport Kunal checked up on us and travelled with us during the whole trip via WhatsApp in my pocket. Even before you board the plane, Kunal will have helped you put your trip together according to your age and wishes. The wildlife safari he organized for my husband and I at Jim Corbett National Park two years ago was simply so amazing that we just had to come back this February for a 'take 2'.”

“From start to finish our experience booking our safari with Kunal was excellent. Going into our first trip to India we were overwhelmed with safari options, but Kunal made the whole experience very easy. He presented us with a few options, created a detailed itinerary for our trip to Jim Corbett National Park, and booked transport to and from Delhi, accommodation and safari passes on our behalf. Our experience at Jim Corbett was incredible — we went on 3 safaris and were fortunate enough to see tigers, elephants, the great hornbill and many other animals. Kunal was very communicative throughout the trip to make sure everything ran smoothly. We can't wait to be back for another safari and we'll definitely be booking with Kunal again.”

Frequently asked questions.
Corbett is at its best from November to June. The cool months (November to February) are ideal for birdwatching and comfortable mornings, while March to June — the hot, dry months — concentrate wildlife around water and are the most reliable for tigers. The Dhikala zone is open from 15 November to 15 June; Jhirna and Dhela stay open through the year.
Permits for the prime zones — Dhikala, Bijrani and Dhela — sell out very quickly, so it's worth planning early.
Always private. You have your own gypsy, your own driver and your own naturalist — no sharing with strangers, no fixed convoy. It is the single biggest difference between booking with us and booking a seat online.
Yes. Corbett is one of the few reserves in India where you can stay overnight in Forest Rest Houses deep inside the core — Dhikala being the most sought after. Some of these houses are over a hundred years old, built in the days of the Raj. It is the closest you can get to living inside a national park in India, and we handle the notoriously difficult bookings for you.
