Kunal's close attention to details ensured clear communication and contacts with taxi drivers (from Nagpur airport and back) and resort staff at Tadoba, ensuring we were always in touch and enjoying the experience. Kunal checks in often too, to ensure the trip is progressing smoothly. We were scheduled for 4 safaris in 3 days, which seemed like the right amount, since each safari is 4 hours long and can be longer if the entry point to the national park is further away. We experienced wildlife up close and it was an enriching experience for me and my family. This is not the first time we have booked through Kunal and won't be the last either!”

  “This was our third trip with Travelwith (this time to Tadoba National Park in Maharashtra) and was, as before, very smoothly organised: car with driver, hotel (Irai Safari Resort — very good), 4 safaris. Except this time there was a slight hiccup — we were not advised that mobiles are not allowed inside the park and we had not carried our camera. However, Kunal was super quick to redress his lapse and arranged with the resort to lend us their equipment. So we were equally quick to forgive him this little slip up. Icing on the cake: after innumerable trips to innumerable national parks, we finally saw the Big Cat, Mr Tiger! What a memorable experience. Thanks Kunal for organising it for us.”

• 01When should I visit Tadoba?
  Unlike many tiger reserves in India, Tadoba is open all year round. In the monsoon season you can do safaris in the buffer zones, which are equally rewarding for big cat and other mammal sightings.

  Tadoba's core zones sell out 120 days ahead, so please plan accordingly. With such a high tiger density, though, guests have had amazing tiger sightings even in the buffer zones.

• 02Why is Tadoba good for photography?
  High tiger density, relatively open bamboo forest and excellent waterhole sightings make Tadoba one of India's best parks for images. Our naturalists know how to position the jeep for the light — a real difference for photographers.

• 03How do I get there?
  Tadoba is a three-hour drive from Nagpur airport or train station. We organise all ground transfers through our network of reliable taxi vendors, including pick-up and drop from Chandrapur train station.
